WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW


Participation statement


It must be understood that participating in mountaineering activities involves some risk of injury. Instructors will take all reasonable care to reduce this risk. As a participant you are required to observe the safety instructions given to you during the course. As you are choosing to partake in this course you should be aware that accidents and injury may occur. Snowdonia Outdoor Adventure is not under any liability whatsoever in respect of loss or damage to personal property, which is not caused by the negligence or fault of Snowdonia Outdoor Adventure.


Cancellation


If you cancel 4 weeks or more before the course starts then any course fees over and above the deposit will be refunded. If you cancel less than 4 weeks but more than 2 weeks before the course starts then you will be refunded 25% of the total course fee. If you cancel less than 2 weeks before the course starts then there is no refund. Snowdonia Outdoor Adventure will make every attempt to run a course. However, if, due to circumstances outside our control like dangerous and/or unsuitable weather conditions, loss or theft of transport or incapacitating injury, we have to cancel a course we will refund all fees paid or find another suitable date.

PRICES

Get in contact and we can quote you a price based on your individual requirements. Prices range from £40 per person per day.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED ?

All technical equipment is provided in the cost of the course, you need to bring food and drink for the day and have appropriate personal clothing as listed on the KIT LIST.


ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is not included in the price, we have put together a list of places in the local area that previous clients have found to work well ACCOMMODATION.


TRAVEL TO SNOWDONIA

Snowdonia is accessible from the north and south. From the north it is usual to come in along the A55 off the M56 from the M6 or M60. From the south up the M5 to the M6 then on to the M54 and the A5. It  is convenient to stay in Betws y Coed, Capel Curig, Llanberis or over on Anglesey.


PERSONAL INSURANCE

The cost of a course does not include personal accident or cancellation insurance. We strongly recommend that you take some out. This can be done through a variety of providers including the British Mountaineering Council (the BMC), Snowcard or Sports cover direct.

Snowdonia Outdoor Adventure is run by Paul James. We provide unique water and rock based adventure activities - Coasteering, Gorge Walking, Rock Climbing, Mountain Walking, Abseiling and Sea Level Traversing.
